FASHION156

September 5th, 2011

Loaf Creative are excited to announce the launch of Fashion 156′s new look website, which we have been working on for the past few months. Fashion 156 is an online fashion magazine which is a huge digital resource for the fashion world and was originally setup in 2006 to promote and support emerging design talent. The site is updated daily with blog articles and entire new issues are released every month. The site has a worldwide reach and was developed to showcase the stars of tomorrow’s catwalk, whilst incorporating the very best of fashion design from around the world. Loaf have designed and developed the Fashion 156 brand and the all new site, and we have also just completed an online store, currently selling Limited edition T-shirts from up and coming designers from around the globe. We have very much enjoyed working with Guy Hipwell and the whole team at Fashion 156, and the website has been very well received by Fashion 156′s loyal readership and the fashion world. We are currently developing mobile and tablet platforms for the brand and helping to market the site.

Look11 Launch at The Bluecoat

May 19th, 2011

Ben Graville

Edmund Clark

We enjoyed an evening at The Bluecoat in Liverpool last Friday celebrating the launch of Look11 – Liverpool International Photography Festival. Some of the exhibiting photographers were wandering around so we got chance to meet and greet them which was a pleasure! An eventful night which continued over at the CUC and rolled nicely in to an unusual ‘superstitious’ after party, showcasing some local musical talent. The festival continues until 26th June in venues across Liverpool. See more of our photos from the night on Flickr.

Calvin Klein opens on The Avenue

May 17th, 2011

Introducing Calvin Klien! The iconic fashion brand has opened its first store in Manchester on ‘The Avenue’, the luxury shopping destination who we recently helped launch a few months back. Calvin Klein first opened it’s doors in New York City, back in 1968 under the helm of one Calvin Klien, who was impressively described as “the supreme master of minimalism”. Though Klein handed over the reigns to designers Francisco Costa, Italo Zucchelli and British-Born Kevin Carrigan a few years ago, he worked with each of them for some time first to ensure that the minimalist chic and quality that ‘Calvin Klein’ is synonymous with remained intact. Calvin Klien as a label is also notable for launching the international career of British supermodel Kate Moss; so on that fashionable note head to The Avenue Manchester to grab your very own pairs of the minimalist designers famous jeans and undies!

Sakinsu Photoshoot

March 14th, 2011

With Sakinsu Lancaster opening this weekend, we thought we’d keep you in the loop with all things Sakinsu and share some fancy new photos we took at their Liverpool store a few weeks ago. We didn’t have time to get our twinkle toes nibbled by the feisty little creatures, but we did catch John with his hand in one of the tanks. It’s usually Ste that’s handling the fish! www.flickr.com/photos/loafcreative

Sakinsu Fish Spa, Liverpool

January 5th, 2011

We’ve just completed the branding, naming, interior design and website for Liverpool City Centre’s first fish spa; ‘Sakinsu.’ Deriving from the Turkish words for ‘tranquil’ and ‘water,’ Sakinsu provides a wonderful environment for you to dip your feet. So sit back and relax while the Gara Ruffa fish work their magic. Now open on Bold Street Liverpool.
